Tonight, on Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow, will have a meeting between Rangers and Sporting. Last time these 2 met was 3 years ago and Rangers have qualified after 0-0 home and 2-0 away.
Now Sporting looks weaker than at that time and Glasgow seems to me tougher. Sporting sold Leidson to Corinthians, but despite that seems they don't suffer in attack. Sporting scored 32 goals in 19 games, Liedson just 6 of them. They don't have a top scorer, in fact there are many players that are scoring for them: Valdez 5, Postiga 5, Djallo 3, etc. Their big problems are in defensive. In last 3 games conceded 7 goals and from much weaker teams.
Rnagers have conceded just 9 goals home and ares croing regulary 2 goals by home game.
They transfered El Hadji Diouf and together with Weiss, Laferty and Jelavic are making a faboulos attacking machine. It feels very good seeing Rangers attacking especially on the flancks. They are creating an enormous pressure on their opponents like in good old days.
IMO Rangers are favourite to take this double and that should be seen tonight when I suppose they'll get a win.
